Like To be a FLAG MARSHAL? SRNSW is recruiting Volunteer Flag Marshals for season 2008/09. Duties of a flag Marshall include monitoring race conditions on course from RCVP Boats, Keeping watch for skier falls, accidents, and any other concerns during a race, reporting conditions to Race official and responding accordingly to incidents including displaying flags. The Marshall's also log and keep records of teams during a race and are an important integral part of successful safe ski racing. These positions would suit either past competitors wishing to become involved in Ski Racing again or people with an active interest in ski racing. You will be trained in all required fields so experience is not necessary. The Marshall's will be required to hold a First Aid Qualification and SRNSW can put you through a course to suit those needs. Please send expressions of interest to skiconnection@optusnet.com.au
