The NSW Racing Committee met last night to discuss the feedback received on the recently announced Series Format.
It has been decided that maintaining consistency within the sport is important and that NSW will adopt SRA’s new class structure.
Specifically, we are also pleased to announce a revised Series Format for the NSW Series, as follows:-
Format for NSW Series
2021 - 2022 Series = 6 Races
Teams can compete in and point score in Race 2, as long as at least one skier from the competing team has not skied in Race 1.
When determining eligibility for age classes, please use the age of the Skier as of midnight, on the 31st December 2021, prior to the 1st January 2022. This will determine the age class they will ski in all year.
We are trialling this new format and since we are also providing free entry for the first Series Race, we would invite you to come along, give it a go and then please provide any constructive feedback you may have. The aim of all of this is to get back to the best racing possible.
